VoidRift is launching soon. Here's what to expect from our Avorion community server.
VoidRift is a new Avorion community server built around exploration, ship-building, and combat. We run the full Cosmic Overhaul mod suite to create a richer, deeper experience than vanilla Avorion.
The server is in its final setup stages. Once we go live, Season 1 will run until January 1, 2027 — giving everyone a clean slate to build their empire.

Season 1 — Into the Void
Details on Season 1 rules, start date, and what happens at the wipe on January 1, 2027.
Season 1 begins at server launch and runs until January 1, 2027.
What Season 1 includes:
- Full Cosmic Overhaul mod suite
- Player-driven economy
- PvP enabled across most sectors
- Protected starting zones for new players
At the wipe, all ships, stations, and resources will be reset. The galaxy configuration will be refreshed and everyone starts fresh for Season 2. Seasons keep the meta from stagnating and give new players a real shot at competing.
More details on Season 2 rules and any changes will be posted before the wipe.
