Code of Conduct
SERVER RULES
Short list. Keep the server fun and fair for everyone.
Respect All Players
Treat everyone with basic respect. Harassment, hate speech, slurs, and sustained toxic behavior toward any player will result in a ban.
No Cheating or Exploit Abuse
No hacked clients, trainers, or intentional abuse of game exploits. If you find a bug or exploit, report it in Discord rather than using it. First offense is a warning; repeated abuse is a permanent ban.
PvP — Core Only
PvP is restricted to the galactic core. The core is a late-game area that requires significant progression to reach — once you're there, it's a free-for-all. The rest of the galaxy is safe for everyone. Do not attack players outside the core under any circumstances.
No Griefing
Repeatedly targeting the same player in the core with the intent to ruin their experience rather than for competitive gain is griefing and is not allowed.
No Inactive Base Destruction
Do not destroy the stations or bases of players who have been offline for more than 7 days without admin approval. If a faction appears abandoned, contact an admin.
English in Global Chat
Use English in global chat so admins and other players can follow conversations. Use Discord for language-specific coordination.
No Impersonation
Do not impersonate admins, staff, or other players. Admin accounts are listed on the About page.
No Advertising
Do not advertise other servers, services, or Discord servers in in-game chat.
Follow Admin Instructions
If an admin asks you to stop doing something, stop. Admin decisions are final. If you believe a decision was unfair, you may appeal by emailing coderift@voidrift.space.
Season Wipes
Wipes happen at the end of each season (roughly every 6 months). All ships, stations, and resources are reset. This is not reversible — plan accordingly.
Appeals & Reports
To appeal a ban or report a player, email coderift@voidrift.space or open a ticket in Discord. Include your in-game name and a description of the situation.
